![]() Greetings. I'm Mark Davis, Genealogist. This site is divided into two parts. The first part is dedicated the the general surname research of DISMORE. The second part deal strictly with my own ancestors. I have been actively researching my ancestry since 1978. I began by trying to complete a task set forth by my grandfather: to find all the descendants of Ebenezer Woodward (1751-1836). This task is nearly done, some 20 years later. However, I quickly became distracted by all the other lines and soon I settled on the Dismore family as my line of specialty. I'm based in South Bend, Indiana, which is conveniently located between Chicago (Newberry Library, Great Lake's Branch NARA) and Fort Wayne (Allen County Public Library). I'm proud to be an active member of the South Bend Area Genealogical Society where I serve on the Board of Directors, editor of The Quarterly and I serve as webmaster.
